Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ThinShot. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with 14 days' notice for material changes.

2. What ThinShot Is

ThinShot is a personal health tracking application that allows you to log GLP-1 medication injections, monitor side effects, track weight, and access AI wellness insights. ThinShot is not a medical device, medical service, healthcare provider, or licensed medical professional.

3. Not a HIPAA Covered Entity

ThinShot is a personal wellness tracking tool operated by J.T. Estates LLC. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and are therefore not a "covered entity" under HIPAA. However, we apply security standards consistent with HIPAA's technical safeguards to all health data as a matter of best practice. Do not submit protected health information expecting HIPAA protections.

4. Subscription and Billing

• • ThinShot Pro is billed at $3.33/month (billed annually at $39.99/year) or $4.99/month billed monthly via Stripe, a secure payment processor.
• • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
• • No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
• • Free months earned via referrals or achievements have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• • We will provide 30 days' notice before any price increases.
• • Free trial (if offered): Terms will be disclosed at sign-up. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You may NOT use ThinShot to:

• • Use ThinShot as a substitute for professional medical care
• • Share account credentials with others
• • Attempt to access other users' data
• • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• • Reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute any part of the app

6. User Content

Journal entries, photos, and health data you create remain yours. You grant ThinShot a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your health data. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.

7. Health Summary / Doctor Report

The Doctor Report and Health Summary export provide a summary of your logged data for informational purposes only. This is not a medical record and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical documentation. ThinShot accepts no liability for how this data is interpreted or used by you or your healthcare provider.

8. Data and Privacy

Your health data is private and stored securely. We do not sell your personal health data to any third party. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time via Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Your Data Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to: access your data, correct your data, delete your data, export your data in machine-readable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, use the Settings page or contact us at privacy@thinshot.app. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Referral Program

Free month rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable. One reward per referral. Referred users must complete 7 days of active use to trigger the reward. ThinShot reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with 14 days' notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

ThinShot is provided "as-is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, J.T. Estates LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, including any health outcomes resulting from information provided by ThinShot or Sage AI. Maximum direct liability is limited to fees paid in the last 3 months.

12. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

ThinShot is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@thinshot.app and we will delete the account immediately.

13. Termination

ThinShot may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy (within 30 days).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nassau County, New York.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email and display a banner in the app at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
